Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024, for Mr. Woody H. Herrington, age, 71, of Seminary in the Jones and Son Chapel of Moselle. He passed from this life on March 13, 2024, at his residence. Bro. Charles Brady will officiate with the burial following in the Lott Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Kirby, Greg Smith, Buck Jones, Mickey Brashier, Kevin Ellzey, Jimmy Welch, Steve "Hutch" Hutchison and Rickey Stanbro. The honorary pallbearer will be Kevin Smith.

Mr. Herrington enjoyed fishing, gardening and talking with his friends. He was a foreman for Brown & Root for many years. He was also a foreman while working at Sasol.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oran Hascal and Lula S. Herrington and brother-in-law, Tommy Brashier.

He is survived by his sisters, Wanda (Joe) Smith and Cynethia Brashier both of Jones County; nieces, Karen (Kevin) Smith and Dana (Kevin) Ellzey both of Jones County; nephews, Shell (Venita) Brashier of Louisiana, Mickey Brashier of Laurel and Greg (Jenny) Smith of Jones County and stepson, Ricky Stanbro of Hattiesburg.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle.
