Services for Mr. Wesley Paul Cooley, age 46, of Daleville, Mississippi will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Jones and Son Chapel in Beaumont.  Mr. Cooley passed from this life on October 14, 2024 at his residence.  Bro. Delton Parker will officiate the service and burial will follow in Beaumont Cemetery.   Serving as pallbearers will be Chico Breland, Mark Breland, Andrew Murry, Buddy Mark Pipkins, Gary Henderson, Joey Rose, Adam Harvison, Timothy Cooley, Roy Gayden, and Johnny Harvison.

Mr. Cooley was born to Harold and Jewel Cooley on July 25, 1978 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.  Wesley loved his family, the outdoors, as well as being a mechanic.  He showed an interest in mechanics early in life.  He could tear up and rebuild anything!  After finishing high school, he was awarded a full scholarship to Jones Junior College for vehicular mechanics.  He then went on to the next level of education and attended a diesel mechanic college in Nashville, Tennessee.  After finishing college in Nashville, he returned to his hometown and started his own business, Forrest Lake Auto.  Throughout his life he worked in construction and as a mechanic.  His hobbies were hunting, fishing, gardening, and drag racing.  Wesley had a very giving heart and mentored many people throughout his life, young and old.  He was loved everywhere he went.

Mr. Cooley was preceded in death by his father, Harold Cooley; sister, Michelle Denise Cooley; and grandparents, A.J. and Ester Cooley,  Rufus and Ester Pipkins.

He is survived by his wife, Terra Cooley of Brooklyn; children, Lauren Cooley, Isaac Cooley, and Joseph Cooley, all of Brooklyn; mother, Lettie Jewel Jordan of Hattiesburg; siblings, Timothy (Michelle) Cooley, Tara (Johnny) Harvison, and Trina (Roy) Gayden, all of Beaumont; special friend, Laura Williams of Daleville; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as friends all over the southern United States.
