Services for Mrs. Virginia "Jenny" Walley, age 94, of Richton, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Richton.  Mrs. Walley passed from this life on February 9, 2024 at her residence.  Bro. Josh Dunn, Bro. Mark Ford, and Bro. Steve Walley will officiate the service and burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Devin Walley, Garrett Walley, Cameron Walley, Stan Gibson, Colbe Thomas, and Ethan Howard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Irving Gene Walley; son, Tim Walley, parents, William Ira and Evelyn Jones; sisters, Mildred Robinson and Mary Ritchey; and brother, William Ira "Bill" Jones, Jr.

She is survived by her sons, Dan (Wanda) Walley of Columbia and Steve (Dot) Walley of Talladega, AL; daughter, Jeannie (Joe) Marshall of Mobile, AL; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank her sitters, Sylvia Samford,  Loretta Odom and her nurse, Jackie Clark for their loving care.
