Services for Ms. Veronica Henderson Pursell, age 42, of the Avera community, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Union Grove Assembly of God.  Ms. Pursell passed from this life on May 12, 2025 at her residence.  Bro. Manuel Henderson, Bro. Dalton Jenkins, and Bro. Chris Adcock will officiate the service and burial will follow in Henderson Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Mason Henderson, Chase Henderson, Dalton Jenkins, Jamie Wood, Clint Cook, Reggie Manning, and Jonathon Henderson.

Veronica loved to watch TV and "cut up" with friends — laughter was her language, and joy was her gift to everyone who knew her. Whether she was out riding or spending time with her family and friends, she brought warmth, humor, and genuine love wherever she went.

She is survived by her parents, Jerold and Lissa Henderson of Piave; children, Brinkley Henderson, Robin Pursell, and Dacen Pursell; siblings, Shalee (Brad) Jenkins and Vanna (Zach) Crane; boyfriend, Jayson Freeman; and nieces and nephews, Dalton Jenkins, Brock Crane, Colby Crane, Braelee Jenkins, Brook Davis, and Cambree Crane.
