Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023, in the Jones and Son Chapel of Moselle for Mrs. Vera Mae Spradley, age 80, of Ellisville who passed from this life on March 28, 2023. Bro. Ricky Owens will officiate with burial to follow in the Springhill Cemetery in Laurel. Pallbearers will be Justin Pitts, Caleb Kelley, Chase Pitts, Brody Pitts, Stan Roberts and Madison Pitts with Bobby Holliman, Jimmy Holliman, Hunter Pitts and Tyler Pitts as alternates.

Mrs. Spradley was a member of New Bethany Baptist Church. She worked for over 31 years at Stevens Sportswear.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lee Vern Spradley and Jimmy Lamar Pitts, Sr.; children, Sherry Pitts, Kay Broadhead and Dewitt Pitts; parents, James Wilmer and Olean Murphy Kelly; sisters, Gene Pitts and Barbara Hinton and brother, Randy Kelly.

She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Lamar (Donna) Pitts of Ellisville and David (Mona) Pitts of Sandersville; daughters, Becky (Evan) Hinton and Tammy Spradley both of Ellisville; 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and sister, Donna Holliman of Ovett.

Visitation will be 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2023, at Jones and Son Funeral in Moselle
