Services for Mr. Truman Cameron, age 78, of Hattiesburg, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Jones and Son Chapel in Hattiesburg.  Mr. Cameron passed from this life on July 27, 2023 at Magnolia Place Retirement Home.  Bro. Jerry Rawls will officiate the service and burial will follow in Grantham Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Jarred Atkins, Ben Atkins, Brandon Lawshe, Austin Carney, Cade Humphrey, and Mark Sulzer.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Luke Cameron and Noah Cameron.

Mr. Cameron loved to fish and sing.  He sang professionally and he opened for several popular country music artists.

Mr. Cameron was preceded in death by his parents, Claudie and Mavis Cameron; and sister, Betty Cameron.

He is survived by his wife, Lona Cameron of Hattiesburg; daughters, Wendy (Frankie) Atkins of Lumberton; Malissa Cameron, and Sherry Cameron, both of Hattiesburg; granddaughter, Haley (Brandon) Lawshe of Lumberton; grandsons, Ben Atkins of Richmond, VA, Jarred (Amanda) Atkins of Lumberton, and Cade Humphrey of Nashville, TN; great grandchildren, Luke, Noah, Presley, Raelyn, and Rylie; brother, Perry (Dee) Cameron of Hattiesburg; and sister, Marie Britt of Houston, TX.
