5:30 - 10:00 p.m.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church, for Mr. Tony C. McLain, age 72, of Richton.  Mr. McLain passed from this life on November 6, 2022 at his residence.  Bro. Thomas Holloway and Mike McLain will officiate the service with burial to follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Braxton Odom, Bryce Odom, John McCardle, Bryan Brewer, Don Byrd, Chad McLain, and Isaac McLain as alternate.

Mr. McLain was a devout Christian and a longtime member of Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.  He worked at Georgia Pacific for 32 years where he retired as a Planer Mill Foreman.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Mr. McLain was prededed in death by his parents, Oscar and Zelline McLain; and brothers, Amos McLain and Burie Arthur McLain.

He is survived by his wife, Iola McLain; daughter, Karen (Eddie) Odom; son, Tony Michael (Marlene) McLain; grandchildren, Braxton (Kriston) Odom, Bryce (Madison) Odom, Isaac McLain, and Ivy McLain (John McCardle); great grandchildren, Waylon Odom, Elliot Odom, Ella Grace Odom, Levi Odom, and Beau Odom; brother, Byron (Martha Ann) McLain; and sister, Margaret Stinson.
