Services for Mr. Tommy Talley, age 80, of Beaumont, will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Jones and Son Chapel in Beaumont.  Mr. Talley passed from this life on June 7, 2025 at his residence.  Bro. Shaun Johnson and Bro. Delton Parker will officiate the service and burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Beaumont.  Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Young, Robert Young, Olen Bolton, Eunice Byrd, Charlie Byrd, John Byrd, and Bobby McSwain, Sr.

Mr. Talley, a hardworking man known for his love of the outdoors and his dedication to his family and faith, was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in New Augusta.  He lived a life rooted in service, work, and the simple joys of nature. He spent many years working at Blossman Gas in Richton and at Georgia Pacific. A skilled mechanic and millwright, he worked with several companies throughout his career and was known for his reliability and strong work ethic.  Mr. Talley was an avid outdoorsman who found peace and joy in hunting and fishing. Whether in the woods or by the water, he felt most at home surrounded by nature.  He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his craftsmanship, and his deep appreciation for the land and life he lived.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rufus Cecil Talley; and mother, Janie Lee Kittrell Talley.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Alice Talley of Beaumont; daughter, T.J. (Stacy) Holder of Beaumont; son, Brad (Allison) Talley of Beaumont; grandchildren, Madalene Patterson of Beaumont, Allison (Anthony) Beasley of Hattiesburg, Caden Talley and Braden Talley, both of Beaumont; great grandchild, Alden Beasley of Hattiesburg; and sister, Katie Young of Dewitt, AR.
