6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Graveside services will be held for Mr. Tommy Lister, age 81, of Ovett, at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 27, 2023 at Neely Cemetery in Neely, Mississippi.  Mr. Lister passed from this life on October 23, 2023.  Bro. Chris Layton and Bro. Aaron Bolling will officiate the service.  Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Lister, Justin Lister, Nicholas Lister, Joseph Gateley, Logan Gateley,  and Joseph Loud with Brandon Lister and J.J. Lister.

Mr. Lister enjoyed spending time with friends and family after his retirement in 2002.  He loved cookouts and being the "center" of attention.

Mr. Lister was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Lister; parents, Thomas and Bernadine Lister; sisters, Ruby Smith and Laura Lister; and brothers, Tim Lister and Orville Lister.

He is survived by his sons, Thomas (Brandy) Lister of Runnelstown and Ronald (Gina) Lister of Taylorsville; daughter, Krystle (John) Quinn of Ovett; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren with one on the way.
