Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2022, at Moselle Memorial Baptist Church for Mr. Thomas Scott Hall, age 78, of Moselle who passed from this life Monday, September 26, 2022. Dr. Keith Thompson will officiate with burial to follow in the Moselle Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Sullivan, Bo Thompson, Mitch Robinson, Brian Phillips, Sam Guthrie, Jason Robertson with Nicholas Navarre and Clinton Ashley as alternates. Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Shows and Jeff Miller.

Scott was a longtime member of Moselle Memorial Baptist Church. He was the videographer for church services and special events for many years before his health began to decline. His contributions to the church and community were innumerable and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who asked.

Our dad loved to laugh, and it was always contagious. We had so much fun growing up going to water parks and parades, playing games and cooking out. He was born on July 4 ^th , so it was a special time for celebration in our family. When he was young, he thought the fireworks were for him!

He always wore shirts with a breast pocket. He said if a shirt didn't have a pocket, it was a blouse. He always kept a small notepad and at least one pen in his pocket. The last few years a fork was often added as well. He said he kept it just in case he had to eat something.

Daddy loved woodworking, word search, coin collecting and puzzles. Thursday nights he and mom would go to supper with friends and play dominoes with them on Fridays.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. We were very blessed to have him in our lives. Rest high on that mountain! You've earned it!

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Hall and Alice Hall Rogers; brothers, William Alton Hall and Robert Carroll Hall and sister, Alice Faye Hall.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Ann Hall of Moselle; daughters, Connie Randall of Moselle, Donna (Clinton) Ashley of Ocean Springs, MS, Barbara Blacklidge (Joe Withrow) of Petal; son, Stephen (Tammi) Poff of Montgomery, AL; grandchildren, Alicia Goff, Clarissa (Conner) Hughes, John (Katie) Navarre, Jr., Nicholas Navarre (Hylah Easter), Cheyenne Tiller, Brodrick Clayburn, America Clayburn, Zoe Poff and Corbin (Caitlyn) Haverkamp; great-grandchildren, Davis, Corinne, Isaac, Darcy, Vincent, Ellie, Christian, Lilith and on the way, Baby Theo; father-in-law, Jimmy Strahan; bonus daughter, Patricia Barr and bonus son, Jeff Miller.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Moselle Memorial Baptist Church.
