A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2024, with a visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m. in the Jones and Son Chapel of Moselle for Mr. Thomas "Tom" Edward Rivers, age 66, of Ellisville. Tom went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 16, 2025, at his residence. Bro. Kenny Morris will officiate.

Tom was born on August 10, 1959, in Jones County to John C. Rivers, Jr. and Ethelene Hutchinson Rivers. He was a member of New Bethany Baptist Church. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend to many, and a great dog dad. Tom was a hard worker and a skilled builder and craftsman. He loved caring for his dogs, watching westerns, hunting, collecting guns, and a good cheeseburger with a glass of milk.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, David (Vicki) Rivers of Cabot, AR; nieces, Jessica Rodgers (Zach) of North Little Rock, AR and Amanda Spradlin (Jerry) of Cabot, AR; nephew, Justin Rivers (Kelly) of Searcy, AR; cousin/caregiver Billy Rivers of Ellisville along with many other cousins; 10 great nephews and one great niece.
