A private graveside service will be held for Mrs. Theresa Havard Prentiss, age 82, of Leakesville, who passed from this life on August 4, 2022 at her residence.

Mrs. Prentiss worked for many years as a field secretary for Scott Paper Company.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She was preceded in the death by her husband, Arthur Ray Prentiss; son, Kenneth Prentiss; and parents, Kenneth Patrick and Lula Mae Havard.

She is survived by her daughters, Rasha (Mike) Green of Leakesville and Patricia (Paul) Hamilton of Tellico Plains, TN; sister, Sue (John) Rouse of Englewood, TN; grandchildren, Lance Green, Beth (Heath) Wallace, Jennifer (Jason) Parnell, Samantha (Seth) McKenzie, Hannah Green, and Mason Etheredge; and great-grandchildren, Lily, Clara, Vivian, Natalie, Zach, Bonnibelle, Piper and Owen.
