Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Jones & Son Funeral Home in Beaumont for Mrs. Thelma Tingle, age 85, of Beaumont, who died on July 21, 2022.  Bro. Shane Giadrosich and Bro. Jack Daughdrill will officiate the service with burial to follow at Beaumont Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Trichell, Blake Clark, Adam Herring, Christopher McDonald, Tristan Wix and Timothy Paris.  Serving as Honorary pallbearers will be James Rae Paris, Anthony McDonald, Chance Herring, Jamie Freeman and Aaron Trichell.

Mrs. Tingle was preceded in death by her parents, Hosey and Etta Freeman; a grandchild, Susan McDonald; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

She is survived by her children, Rita (Stephen) Walker of London U.K, Calvin (Rhonda) Herring of Beaumont, Nelda (John) McDonough of Ray City, GA, Betty (Jim) Arledge of Richton, Iva Rae Armstrong of Long Beach, MS and Kimberly (Rodger) Wix of Ovett.  She has 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters, Kay Paris of Beaumont and Nelda Lee of Picayune.

Mrs. Tingle worked for Delta Pine, then Marshall Durban chicken plant, The Neely Manufacturing Plant, and then as a cook at Jr. Food Mart.  She was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Richton and formerly active in the Beaumont Women's Club.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Jones & Son Funeral Home in Beaumont.
