Graveside services for Mr. Terry M. Walley, age 68, of Richton, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.  Bro. Evans Freeman, Bro. Ricky Simmons, and Bro. Shane Dykes will officiate the service.  Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Seals, Austin Pipkins, Colby Clark, Blake Walley, Heath Simmons, Shane Dykes, Eric Walley, Tyler Varnes, and Charles O'Neal.

Mr. Walley passed away on July 6, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, hard work, and unwavering love for his family.  He loved his family beyond measure. He treasured every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will be cherished for generations to come.

In his younger years, Mr. Walley preached the Gospel, sharing his love for the Lord with others. Throughout his life, he was known for his strong work ethic and took great pride in his career as a carpenter, a profession he truly enjoyed.

An avid outdoorsman, Mr. Walley found his greatest joy in deer hunting, spending time at the fox pen with his sons, and running hunting dogs. Some of his happiest moments were listening to the dogs run alongside his son and grandchildren, enjoying the traditions and fellowship that meant so much to him. He also had a special love for his dogs, which were faithful companions throughout the years.  Mr. Walley will be remembered for his steadfast faith, his devotion to his family, his love of the outdoors, and the many lives he touched through his kindness and hard work.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Palmer Walley; father, Mitchell Walley; mother, Jannice Browder Walley Burnett; brother, Mark DeWayne Walley; and sister, Joy Dykes.

Mr. Walley is survived by his children, Michael (Melissa) Walley of Richton, Terry J. (Tamara) Walley of Richton, and Ashley Walley (Lance Green) of Leakesville; grandchildren, Chelsea Mallette, Kolby Walley, Brianna Walley, Madison Varnes, Amber Seals, Kearsten Mullins, and Maggie Walley; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Muril (Eileen) Walley of Richton; and sisters, Janita West of Lucedale and Jackie (Rickey) Simmons of Waynesboro.
