Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 4, 2023, in the Lott Cemetery of Seminary for Mr. Steve Rhodus, age 65, of Seminary who passed from this life on September 30, 2023 at Hattiesburg Health and Rehab. Pallbearers will be Colin Fant, Randy Dial, Andy Dial, Cody Garrick, Joshua Parish and Brandon Rhodus.

Steve was born on March 25, 1958 to Charlie and Mary Rhodus. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church of Moselle. He worked for 20 years with the Jones County Road Maintenance Department. He enjoyed fishing, playing softball and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Ethel, Judy Lynn, and Patricia Ann; brothers, Charles Ray and Ricky and stepsister, Pauline.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, JoAnn Rhodus of Seminary; children, Brandon (Stacey) Rhodus of Petal and Stacey Rhodus of Seminary; grandchildren, Colin Fant, Colton Perry, Kylie Rhodus and Seth Rhodus and mother-in-law, Lou Sanford.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle.
