Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Jones & Son Funeral Home in Beaumont for Mrs. Sonja J. Carnahan, age 79, of Beaumont, who passed from this life on October 28, 2022.  Bro. Delton Parker will officiate the service with burial to follow in Beaumont Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Blake Lott, Dale Carnahan, Sean Carnahan, Josh Carnahan, Shane Walley and Dustin Walley.

Mrs. Carnahan was preceded in death by her husband, Freddy Carnahan; children, Douglas and Darlene and parents, Carley and Selma Walley.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Rodney) Lott of Beaumont; brother, Reese Walley of Moss Point; grandchildren, Marissa (Kevin) Shoemake, Kaitlyn Crocker and Blake Lott; great-grandchildren, Noah and Ryleigh Shoemake, and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Sonya attended First Baptist Church of Beaumont and she was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Jones & Son Funeral Home in Beaumont.
