Graveside services for Mrs. Sherry M. Bourne, age 72, of Petal, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Cochran Private Cemetery in Richton.  Mrs. Bourne passed from this life on May 9, 2026 at her residence.  Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Pipkins, Dustin Hayes, Blazedon Hayes, David Guthrie, Kacey Histon, and Ollie Pipkins.

Mrs. Bourne was a longtime resident of Petal.  She has gone to be with the love of her life, Mack Walley.  The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Asbury Hospice and the Forrest General Hospital team.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Mack Walley; and one son.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Tom) Pipkins of Petal; grandson, Dustin (Renee) Hayes of Petal; great grandchildren, Paislee Hayes, Blazedon Hayes, Buck Hayes, Braxton Pipkins, and Levi Pipkins, all of Petal; and her Shih Tzu puppy, Monkey.
