Services for Mrs. Shelia Jones, age 74, of Hattiesburg, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Jones and Son Chapel in Hattiesburg.  Mrs. Jones passed from this life on December 29, 2023 in Hattiesburg.  Bro. Greg Bennett will officiate the service and burial will follow in Grantham Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Bond, James Graham, Randy Smith, Jimmy Dale English, Gary Yawn, and Carl Hutson.

Mrs. Jones loved her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Minnie Fortenberry; brother, Ronnie Fortenberry; and sister-in-law, Debbie Fortenberry.

She is survived by her husband, William E. Jones of Oak Grove; daughters, Pam Roberts of Petal, Melanie Stanley of Purvis, and Patty Traylor of Oak Grove; brother, Larry Fortenberry of Sumrall; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
