Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2024, in the Jones and Son Chapel of Moselle for Mrs. Scharlotte Marie Sanford, age 83, of Seminary. Mrs. Sanford passed from this life on January 8, 2024 at Forrest General Hospital. Dr. Tim Hubbard will officiate with burial to follow in Soule's Chapel Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Norris, Troy Norris, Keith Bush, Michael Butler, Kyle Butler, Nicholas Crowe and David Butler.

Scharlotte was born on January 19, 1940 to Mill and Getties Butler. She was a member of the Soule's Chapel Methodist Church. Mrs. Sanford worked as a store clerk in a grocery business.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Sanford; son, Eddie Sanford; parents and brothers, Morris, Donald, Lane, Ken and Stuart Butler.

She is survived by daughters, Kim Norris of Hattiesburg, Kristi (Jamie) Ellzey of Seminary and Keila (Steve) Duplessey of Seminary; son, Guy (Tiffany) Sanford of Moselle; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Jones and Funeral Home in Moselle.
