Graveside services for Mrs. Sarah Gilmore, age 93, of Beaumont, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Fairley Cemetery in Brooklyn.  Mrs. Gilmore passed from this life on December 19, 2025 in Lucedale.

Mrs. Gilmore retired from Mobile Paperboard after 30 years of dedicated service, where she worked as a traffic manager. Above all else, she had a deep and abiding love for her family. She found great joy in music, her beloved pets, gardening, and the art of canning and preserving. A wonderful cook and talented seamstress, she delighted those around her with both her skills and her generosity. She also shared a special connection with wildlife, and her home was always filled with the comforting sounds of country music and the inviting aromas of her delicious cooking.  Her legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to family will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Gilmore; son, George C. Gilmore; and granddaughter, Kathryn Anne Geery.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Gilmore Jones of Beaumont; granddaughter, Carolyn Sue (Jody) Havens of Benndale; great-grandchildren, Shannon Brewer of Richton, Sarah Sumrall of Benndale, Shawn Brewer of Benndale, Hailey Cowart of Benndale, Darren Havens of Benndale, Abbie Havens of Lucedale, Samantha Geery of Moss Bluff, LA, and Christopher Geery of Moss Bluff, LA; and 13 great-freat grandchildren.
