Services celebrating the wonderful life of Mrs. Sandra Kay Nettles, age 78, of Hattiesburg, will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at St. Fabian Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Nettles Family Cemetery near Meadville, MS.  Sandra passed from this life on May 7, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at Brookdale Assisted Living in Hattiesburg.

Known for her contagious personality and joyful spirit, Sandra left a lasting impression on everyone she met. For over 20 years, Sandra was a dedicated and accomplished salesperson at Dillard's, where her talent and charisma earned her numerous awards and the admiration of both customers and colleagues. Her work ethic and warmth made her a standout in her profession. A faithful and active member of St. Fabian Catholic Church, Sandra's life was grounded in her faith and her devotion to her community. In her free time, she found joy in gardening and lovingly tending her flowers, creating beautiful pottery, and indulging in various arts and crafts. She was also an exceptional cook, known for meals that brought her family together. Above all, Sandra treasured her family. She was a loving presence in the lives of her children and a proud and devoted grandmother. Her legacy of love, creativity, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Nettles; her son, Raymond Neil Nettles Jr.; her parents, Edwin and Norma Borger; and her brother, Bobby Borger.

She is survived by her sons, Lance (Darcy) Nettles and Brent (Jamie) Nettles; her grandchildren, Chris, Ross, and Cecilia; and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2025, also at St. Fabian Catholic Church.
