Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. for Mrs. Sandra Jean Gunter, age 63, of Collinsville, AL on Monday, February 12, 2024 in the Highland Cemetery in Hattiesburg. She passed away from this life on February 8, 2024, in Riverview Regional Medical Center of Gadsden, AL. She was born on September 26, 1960 in Laurel, MS to Ernest Earl and Lula Mae Collum, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Earnest Earl Collum, Jr. and sister, Carlene Thompson.

She is survived by her husband, David Gunter of Collinsville, AL; children, Charity Gunter and Sandra Danielle Gunter both of Collinsville, AL; brothers, James Ernest (Laverne) Collum of Petal, Roger Dale (Stella) Collum of Collinsville, AL, Danny Collum of Gulfport, MS; sisters, Alice Faye Fairley of Petal, Sue Gibson of Brooklyn, MS, Ann Hennis of Petal, Darlene (Dwight) Riggs of Petal and Melissa (Jason) James of Petal.

Mrs. Gunter was of the Baptist faith.

Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2024, at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Moselle.
