Mr. Samuel "Sam" Jackson "Jack" Haislip, age 79, of Richton, Mississippi, passed from this life on January 24, 2025.  Sam was born on November 29, 1945 in Nashville, Tennessee.  He was a proud Navy veteran who dedicated a portion of his life to serving his country.  Following his time in the Navy, he worked in various occupations, one of which was a truck driver.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; his parents, W.L. (Bill) and Dora Mae Haislip; and his brother, Lamont Haislip.

He is survived by his sister, Grace (Luther) Wicks of Lynnville, Tennessee; his sister-in-law, Kay Haislip of Whitehouse, Tennessee; his nephew, Roger Wicks of Colorado; three nieces, Becky (Ricky) Russell of Lynnville, Tennessee, Maria Tate of Whitehouse, Tennessee and Lisa (John) Keathley of Whitehouse, Tennessee.  Sam is also survived by four great nieces, two great nephews, and numerous great great nieces and nephews.
