Services will be held for Mrs. Samantha Elaine Kitchens, age 39, of Ovett, at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the First United Pentecostal Church of Richton. Mrs. Kitchens passed from this life on March 20, 2024. Bro. Shane Giadrosich, Bro. Colon Rowell, and Bro. Ricky Palmer will officiate with burial to follow in Welcome Home Cemetery in Ovett. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Ishee, Logan Overstreet, Otis Blackledge, Justin Odom, Dwayne Overstreet, Jeffrey Overstreet, and Jason Overstreet.

Mrs. Kitchens was a member of Welcome Home Jesus Name Church in Ovett. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for four years at the Perry County Nursing Center of Richton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Mitchell Kitchens; son, Krymsin Kitchens; father, Tony Duane Overstreet; and grandparents, Loyce Slay, Dorothy Slay, Horace Overstreet, and C.J. Smith.

She is survived by her sons, Christopher Ishee, Rocky Ishee, and Cashtian Kitchens all of Ovett; daughter, Tatum Ishee of Laurel; mother, Vanessa (Ray) Williamson of Quitman; brothers, Zachary Overstreet (Rachelle) of Weiser, ID, Logan Overstreet of Princeton, WV, C.J. Beech of Princeton, WV, Otis Blackledge of Waynesboro, and Cayden Beech of Princeton, WV; sisters, Izabella Williamson of Quitman and Chrissy (Justin) Odom of Buckatunna; grandmother, Mary Smith of Laurel and stepmother, Patricia Denise Overstreet of Princeton, WV.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the First United Pentecostal Church of Richton.

Jones and Son Funeral Home of Richton is in charge of the services.
