Services for Mrs. Sally James, age 92, of Richton, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the First Baptist Church of Sand Hill.  Mrs. James passed from this life on January 4, 2025 at her residence.  Bro. Nick Chatham, Bro. Kyle Walley, and Bro. Troy Fagan will officiate the service and burial will follow in the James Family Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Jeramie James, Scott Meadows, Wade Graham, Kaleb Thurston, Keven Thurston, and Wade McKee.

Mrs. James was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Sand Hill.  She had a passion for sewing and loved working in her yard as well as tending her flowers.  She worked as a bookkeeper for the Beat 3 Water Association for 21 years and was a long term volunteer at the local food box ministry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas L. James.

She is survived by her children, Belinda Graham of Petal, Ronnie (Margie) James of Diamondhead, Patricia (Larry) Meadows of Richton, and Darlene (Don) Agee of Sand Hill; grandchildren, Deanne (Troy) Fagan, Wade Graham, Grace Graham, Jeramie James (Annette), Hannah (Chad) Smith, Scott (Erika) Meadows, Krissy (Wade) McKee, Kaleb (Kristin) Thurston, Keven (Kelsey) Thurston, Travis (Mindy) Agee, and Dana (Quintin) Pearson; 22 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
