A memorial service will be held at a later date for Mrs. Sallie Barnes, age 86, who passed from this life on September 14, 2024, at her residence. Mrs. Barnes was born on August 29, 1938, in Clifton, TN to William Marvin and Pearl Terry Boyd.

Sallie worked as an LPN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Barnes; daughter, Marty Vogel; sons, Michael Wayne Dees and Stephen Dees; parents; brothers, Albert, Jimmy, Manuel, Ray and David.

She is survived by her daughters, Virginia Lynn (Billy Wayne) Boyd of Moselle, Janet Hatchett of Memphis, TN, Deborah White of Moselle; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and sister, Nancy Price of Southaven, MS.
