A memorial service will be held at a later date for Mr. Rudolph Breland, age 89, of Ovett, who passed from this life on June 17, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Breland was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Ardell Breland; and brother, Nathan Breland.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Shoemake Breland of Ovett; sons, David (Nitra) Breland of Breaux Bridge, LA and Michael Breland of Ovett, MS; grandchildren, Bonnie Breland of Talbott, TN and Kaeci Breland of Breaux Bridge, LA; great grandchild, Xane Sunderhuse of Talbott, TN; brothers, Hilton Breland of Pendleton, OR, Richard Breland of Petal, MS, and Hollis Breland of New Augusta, MS; sisters, Nadine Patterson and Margaret Ann Miller, both of Petal, MS; and sister-in-law, Ann Sparkman of Ovett, MS.
