Services for Mrs. Rubye E. McGee, age 95, of Richton, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 15, 2025 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Mrs. McGee passed from this life on August 10, 2025 in Hattiesburg.  Dr. Anthony O'Neal and Bro. Mikey Cooper will officiate the service and burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Green, Tyler Green, Joel Herring, Leslie Herring, Jeremy Edwards, Justin Edwards, and Malcolm Edwards.

Mrs. McGee was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church in Richton.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Calvin Dunn; second husband, Edward E. "Ed" McGee; son, James David Dunn; grandson, Charles Ross Dunn; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Charles H. Dunn of Richton, Cathy Wise of Richton, Chris Dunn of Richton, David Dunn of Kaplan, LA, Marjorie Green of Williamsburg, KY, Eugene McGee of New Braunfels, TX, Beverly Smith of Lees Summit, MO, and Judy Abbott of Las Vegas, NV; 22 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
