Graveside services for Mrs. Ruby Joyce Daley Clifton, age 78, of Petal, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Bethel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.  Mrs. Clifton passed from this life on May 16, 2023 at her residence.  Bro. Norman Nowell will officiate the service.  Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Clifton, Charles Clifton, Bill Clifton, Nicky Clifton, Paul Johnson, and Jay Clifton with  Trever Clifton and Michael Clifton as alternates.

Mrs. Clifton was an avid sports fan of all kinds.  She loved gardening and her grandchildren dearly.

Mrs. Clifton was preceded in death by her father, Adrain Daley; and mother, Mandy Ruby Graham Andrews.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joe Henry Clifton of Petal; sons, Joe Henry (Tammie) Clifton of Conroe, TX and George Prescott (Tiffany) Clifton of Wesley Chapel, NC; daughter, Clarissa Sue Clifton (Tim Ferguson) of Crestview, FL; grandchildren, Amanda Joyce (Sean) Miller, Heather Danielle (Faith) Chestnut, Kayla Charlene (Jason) Sargent, Bethany A. (Ralph) VanOverberghe, Jaden Mercedes Clifton, Quinn Emeline Clifton, and Piper Prescott Clifton; great grandchildren, Jackson Sean Miller, Maddox Earl Miller, Oliver Knox Miller, Kingston Cade Miller, Eliana Sophia Sargent, and Isabella Maria Sargent.
