Services for Mr. Roger White, age 67, of Waynesboro, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Jones and Son chapel in Richton.  Mr. White passed from this life on December 16, 2024 at his home with his family and friends around him.  Bro. William Smith and Bro. Roy Nowell will officiate the service and burial will follow in Henderson Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Braxton R. Guy, Noah W. Guy, Blayton White, Luke White, Justin White, and Jammie White.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Guy and Bracklyn White.

Roger was retired from Tanner Construction where he was a heavy equipment operator for many years.  He then worked in the lawn care business for several years.  He loved riding in the wagon, going to car shows, fishing, and drinking coffee.  He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and sharing his knowledge of everything.  He was a cat lover and enjoyed taking care of them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy "Scrap" and Jewel White; and brothers, Randall White and Harold White.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ilene White of Waynesboro; son, Thomas Ray Guy of Waynesboro; daughter, Roseanna M. (Stephen) Taylor of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Makenna M. Stevens of Waynesboro, Braxton R. Guy of Greene County, Noah W. Guy of Waynesboro, Blayton C.(Deanna) White of Waynesboro, Bracklyn C. White of Waynesboro, and Christopher L. Guy of Waynesboro; a great grandchild on the way; and brothers, Don White of Piave and Eric (Tammy) White of Waynesboro.
