Services for Mr. Roger Dale Holder, age 76, of Richton, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Mr. Holder passed from this life on November 19, 2025 in Hattiesburg.  Bro. J.R. Hartfield will officiate the service and burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Leakesville.  Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Holder, Roy Holder, Heath Williams, Garret Hillman, Lane Goldsmith, and Timmy Powe.

Mr. Holder was a member of Dykes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Richton.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all.

Mr. Holder was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Holder; parents, William Lawrence and Myrtie Holder; and siblings, Rev. Frances Holder, Lillian Penton, Hulon Holder, Edward Holder, Cecil Holder, Ernest Holder, Everette Holder, Mary Martin, sister at birth, Bryant Holder, and Lily Mae Bexley.

He is survived by his sons, Edward (Dessie) Holder of Wiggins, Joseph (Nancy) Holder of the Pleasant Hill Community, and Matthew Holder of Sand Hill; grandchildren, Hannah (Kory) Stokes, Kaylee Holder, Justin Holder, Morgan Holder, Katelyn (Lane) Goldsmith, Kristin (Garret) Hillman, Austin Holder, and Amber (Cameron) Harrington; great grandchildren, Canaan Stokes, Callen Stokes, Oakleigh Hillman, Sayla Harrington, Hannah Harrington, and Joshua Harrington; and brother, Hancel (Cathy) Holder of Beaumont; and sister, Betty Singleton of Mobile, AL.
