Visitation will be held 2:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle for Mr. Robert Reus, Jr., age 79, of Collins. Mr. Reus passed from this life on September 8, 2026, at his residence. He was born on March 20, 1947, in Wade, MS to Robert Leonard and Avie C. Lampkin Reus, Sr.

Robert served in the United States Army for 12 years seeing combat in both Vietnam and Korea. He was a master mechanic by trade and could fix anything. He loved to hunt, fish and race cars. He enjoyed gathering with family and friends. He loved old classic cars and going to Cruising the Coast. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge of Ellisville and former member of the Moselle Volunteer Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Jessica Hope Hertenstein and AnaLeigh Reus Nashoda; great-grandchildren, Dakota Bryant Hertenstein and Timothy Ryan Porter; parents; sister, Kitty Patricia Aguilar; stepfather, Henry Ryan; aunt, Ethel Gray and several other aunts and uncles.

Robert is survived by his wife, Ramona Reus, of Collins; children, Angela Dismukes (Jerome) of Escatawpa, Avie Darlene Hartfield of Collins, Frances Lynn Reus of Moselle, Kimberly Dunn of Escatawpa and Robert Leonard Reus, III of Sandersville; 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Gregory Reus; uncle, Sidney Reus (Helen) and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
