A memorial service will be held at a later date for Mr. Robert "Snake Man" Holmes, age 63, of Ovett.  Mr. Holmes passed from this life on September 11, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Holmes was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Irene Holmes; grandson, Dakota Holmes; and brother Alan "Duck" Holmes.

He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Holmes of Richton; son, Jason Holmes of Ellisville; grandchildren, Bailey Bresse, Conner Bresse, Darren Holmes, Chloe Holmes and Katelyn Holmes; great grandchildren, Karter Holmes and Karsyn Holmes; brothers, Irvin Robertson of Petal, Charles Robertson of Soso, and Richard Holmes of Biloxi; sisters, Kay Holmes of Panama City, FL, and Darlene Williamson of Soso; step grandchildren, Haleigh Brewer and Jayden Graham; and step great grandchild, Ella Brewer.
