Services for Mr. Robert Yancie "Bobcat" Hillman, age 56, of McLain, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 17, 2026 at Neely Baptist Church.  Mr. Hillman passed from this life on August 9, 2026 in Spartanburg, South Carolina.  Bro. Zach Cochran, Bro. Nick Freeman, and Bro. Cam Dunnam will officiate the service and burial will follow in Neely Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Cumbie, Roland Roberts, Dale Thurston, Chad McIlwain, Ken Cumbie, and Rocky Pierce.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Denny Harvison and Steve Prentiss.

Mr. Hillman worked in the construction business as a welder, operator, and rigger, most recently with Performance Contractors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors, where he found peace and happiness in the simple pleasures of being in nature. He was also a big fan of Alabama and enjoyed cheering on his favorite team. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends and treasured the memories made with those closest to him.

He was preceded in death by his father, R.E. "Son" Hillman; sister, Mary Smith; and brother, John Hillman.

He is survived by his sons, Garrett (Kristen) Hillman and Cole Hillman; grandchild, Oakleigh Hillman; mother, Mell D. Hillman; siblings, Sean (Angie) Hillman, Burt Hillman, Skylar Hillman, and Cordelia Lott; niece, Hannah (Zach) Cochran; and nephew, Matthew (Cassidy Dearman) Hillman.
