Graveside services for Mr. Robert Blackledge, age 86, of Hattiesburg, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Sunset Cemetery in Richton.  Mr. Blackledge passed from this life on October 28, 2024 in Hattiesburg.  Bro. Anthony O'Neal will officiate the service.

Mr. Blackledge faithfully served his country for over 21 years in the United States Air Force and then continued with the Civil Service for another 20 years.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Grace Blackledge; and brother, "Putt Putt" Blackledge.

He  is survived by his wife of 66 years, Billie Sue Blackledge of Hattiesburg, MS; and sons, Terry Blackledge of Montgomery, AL and Kenny (Suzanne) Blackledge of Petal, MS.
