Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, October 5, 2025, in the Jones and Son Chapel of Moselle for Mr. Richard Larry Jones, age 75, of Petal. Mr. Jones passed away on October 1, 2025, at his residence. Bro. Brian Lee will officiate with burial to follow in the Bennie Henserling Memorial Cemetery in Petal. Serving as pallbearers will be Lane Ratcliff, Kenny Lawler, Drew Carruth, Hunter Nelson, Hogan Nelson and James "Gamble" Jones.

Larry was a member of The Vision Baptist Church of Petal. He retired as a production supervisor with Exxon Production after 21 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lloyd and Minnie Mae Walters Jones and brother, Freddie Jones. Larry is survived by his daughters, Stacey (Sammy) Lawler of Petal, Kristi (Monty) Nelson of Lumberton and Kerri (Mark) Ratliff of Petal; sons, Michael (Kristan) Servolini of Petal and Richard Jones II of Petal. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Drew Carruth of Petal, Kenny (Kim) Lawler of Petal, Hunter (Makenzie) Nelson of Purvis, Hogan Nelson of Purvis, Hannah "Beth" Nelson of Purvis, Lane Ratliff of Petal, Laurel Ratliff of Petal, James "Gamble" Jones of Petal and Christian Servolini of Petal. He also leaves behind his brothers, Tommy Jones and Eddie Jones both of Petal and sister, Mickey Fleming of Petal.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle.
