Mr. Richard Lee Berry, age 73, of Leakesville, Mississippi, passed from this life on October 25, 2025, in Hattiesburg.

Mr. Berry retired as a CM&E Foreman from International Paper Company after 32 years of dedicated service. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, and one of his favorite pastimes was playing golf. Above all, Richard deeply loved his family and especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, B.B. Dueitt; his parents, John Neal and Josetta Berry; brothers, Kenneth Berry and Johnny Earl Berry; and sister, Kathy Duvall.

He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Berry of Leakesville; his son, Evan (Kristen) Berry of Brandon; and his beloved grandchildren, Andrea (Tim) Green, Kelsey (Tyler) Merritt, and Neal Berry; his precious great-grandchildren, Brody, Henry, Dawson, Thea, Walker, and Brooks; his brother, David Joe Berry of Baton Rouge; and his sister, Etta Ann Hodges of Leakesville.

Richard will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and devotion to his family and friends. His legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
