Memorial services for Mr. Richard Wayne Beasley, age 47, of New Augusta, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Jones & Son chapel in Richton.  Mr. Beasley passed from this life on January 19, 2026 at his residence.  Rev. John Jernigan will officiate the service and burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his adoptive mother, Betty Beasley, and his biological father, Richard Dueitt.

He is survived by his adoptive father, Doug Beasley; biological mother, Shelia Aughtman; and siblings: Norman Beasley, Walt Beasley, Michael Gurd, Daniel Gurd, Michelle White, Angela Dueitt, Tabitha Dueitt Allen, Crystal Dueitt Hicks, Sharon Dueitt, Lyann Ballard, Joyce Beasley James, Jonathan Beasley, and Sabrina Aughtman. He also leaves behind a wide circle of friends who became family, all of whom will feel the absence of his generous and steadfast friendship.
