Services for Rev. Randy James, age 69, of Richton, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Mr. James passed from this life on April 7, 2025 at his residence.  Bro. Buddy Smith and Bro. Mark Ford will officiate the service and burial will follow in Frisco Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Chap James, Justin James, Blake West, Brandon West, Gavin Whitehead, Colby Stinson, John Winstead, and Alec Kittrell.

Rev. James was a retired Methodist minister, having served in several churches in Mississippi for over 28 years.  He was a lifelong mechanic and worked for several years with James Enterprises.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Evelyn Louise James; brother, Jeff James; and sister, Brenda Herring.

He is survived by his son, Chap (Rhonda) James of Richton; daughter, Brianna (Justin) James of Richton; grandchildren, Gaby (Gavin) Whitehead of Petal, Lily James of Petal, Kaly James of Richton, Brook James of Richton, Bethany (Alec) Kittrell of Richton, Brandon (Meagen) West of Richton, and Blake West of Richton; great grandchildren, Evelyn Barnett, Maeleigh West, Mathis West, Emery Kittrell, Avery Kittrell, Casey West, and Maci Kittrell; and sisters, Tamra (Corbit) Sullivan of Richton, Cheryl (Wallace) Clark of Richton, and Sonja (David) Hopper of Hattiesburg.
