Services for Ms. Portia Renee Ishee Sylvester, age 58, of Beaumont, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Thompson Hill Baptist Church in Beaumont.  Bro. Phillip Erkhart will officiate the service.   Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Sylvester, Shawn Sylvester, Will Sylvester, Kinnie Sylvester, Robert Dunn, Buck Holliman, and Rhett Baygents.

Ms. Sylvester passed from this life in her home early in the morning on June 9, 2025 surrounded by her children and grandchildren.  She had been employed as a front end supervisor at Marshall's in Diberville for many years before battling leukemia.   She was a member of Thompson Hill Baptist Church.  Ms. Sylvester was a kind and generous person who loved her family and spoiling her grandchildren.  She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed until we meet again on Heaven's shores.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth D. Ishee; and mother, Portia Ishee.

She is survived by her children, Kyle Sylvester of Biloxi, Sarah (Rhett) Baygents of McLain, Shawn (Sheena) Sylvester of Lucedale, and Will (Lakyn) Sylvester of Richton; grandchildren, Anna Sylvester, Callie Sylvester, Sweet Pea Sylvester, Bentley Baygents, Lukas Bagents, Jeremiah Baygents, Payton Sylvester, River Sylvester, Magnolia Sylvester, and Bexleigh Sylvester; sisters, Dana Ishee of McLain and Angela Ishee Solomon of New Augusta.
