Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2025, in the Gandy Cemetery of Ellisville for Mrs. Paula Josephine Blackwell, age 71, of Petal. Mrs. Blackwell went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 3, 2025. Pastor Dan Atkinson will officiate with burial to follow the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Perry Davisson, Cliff Bullington, Austin Davisson, Eddie Mendez, Damian Mendez, Seth Craven and Arliss Jones.

Paula was a devout Christian and loved Gospel music. She was a very generous soul and a very free spirit. She was a devoted vegan and loved her two puppies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, S.T. and Julia Owens and great-grandson Kai Jones.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Lonnie Joe Blackwell of Petal; daughters, Julie (Perry) Davisson of Petal, Shana McDonnieal of Richton, Jessica (Cliff) Bullington of Petal and Alexandria (Eddie) Mendez of Moselle; grandchildren, Austin Davisson, Gracie Davisson, Raine McGee, Reece McGee, Wyatt Bullington, Arliss Jones, Alexandria Mendez, Seth Craven, Michael McDonnieal and Carley Rainey; two great-grandchildren and sister, Cathy (Andy) Vice of Tennessee.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2025, at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Moselle.
