A visitation for Mr. Paul "Too Tall" Crays, age 49, of Richton, will be held from 4:30 – 8:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Richton.  Mr. Crays passed from this life on June 12, 2024 at his residence.

Mr. Crays loved fishing.  He was a very kind, good hearted man.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Doris and Melvin Brewer; stepfather, Ira Peterson; stepbrother, James Peterson; and cousin, Jeffrey Brewer.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Crays of Richton; daughter, Jocelyn "Rosey" (Willie) Hinton of New Augusta; sons, Richard "R.J." (Jill) Dement and Andrew (Shana) Dement, both of Richton; grandchildren, Harley, Emma, Abigail, and Willie "Jr." Hinton, Kristen, Savannah, and Elizabeth Dement, and Andrea, Jeffrey, and Jr. "J.J." Dement; great grandchildren, Jesse, Karsin, an Tanner Dillon and Curtis Meeler; father, Daryll Crays of Jackson; mother, Theola Peterson of Hattiesburg; sisters, Melinda Crays of Hattiesburg and Ashley Jones of Brandon; stepsister, Marion Peterson of Kansas City, MO; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
