Graveside services will be held for Mr. Paul Charles Johnson of Moselle at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, in the Fellowship Cemetery of Taylorsville at 220 Fellowship Road, Taylorsville. Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Anderson, Collin Smith, Tyler Coleman, Ryan Odom and Jonathan Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryder Odom and Ian Anderson.

Paul was born on December 13, 1945, in Taylorsville, MS to Burl Maxwell and Alpha Robinson Johnson. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church and served in the United States Army National Guard during Peacetime. He was truck driver for 30 years before he retired.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Glaze Johnson; parents; and siblings, Billy Johnson, Stella Stuckey, Louise Strickland, Betty Sue Mullins and Bobby Joe Johnson.

He is survived by his children, Tommy Wayne Smith (Carla) of Hattiesburg, Paula Coleman of Moselle and Stephen Johnson (Lisa) of Moselle; sisters, Daisy Strickland of Taylorsville and Catherine Parker of Ellisville; grandchildren, Jonathan Smith (Olivia) of Ocean Springs, Collin Smith of Hattiesburg, Ryan Odom (Leighann) of Collins, Hannah Rone (Jacob) of Moselle, Allison Husband of Laurel, Tyler Coleman of Seminary, Heather Johnson of Moselle and Emily Anderson (Chad) of Moselle and great-grandchildren, Hattie Smith, Ryder Odom, Ian Anderson, Olivia Anderson, Avie Anderson and Ella Anderson.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Moselle.
