A memorial service will be held at Richton First Assembly of God on May 17, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. for Ms. Patricia Nell (Creel) Hamdeed, age 58, of Center Point, Alabama (formerly from Richton, Mississippi) who passed away on April 18, 2025 at her home.  Bro. Scott Morris will officiate the service and interment will follow in Creel Family Cemetery in Richton.

In 2010, she found her calling in life and worked very hard to get a nursing degree. In 2011, her family was very proud of her accomplishment and was excited to celebrate that special day when she walked across the stage and gave an amazing speech and received her Nursing degree from JCJC. As a nurse for the past 14 years, she has shown love, kindness and compassion for all of her patients.  The deep love and compassion she had for her children and very talented grandchildren was amazing. She always found her happiest moments spending time with them and celebrating those special occasions. She attended Pinson Church of God of Prophecy where she loved playing the piano. She also had a love for animals and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie E. Creel, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Ed and Vaudia Creel; maternal grandparents, Albert Gaines and Clydell Prine.

She is survived by her son, Reginald (Kirstin) Hamdeed of Birmingham, AL; daughter, Melanie Cammarata of Center Point, AL; grandchildren, Isabella, Gianna, Giovanni, Sophia, and Nashoba; her mother, Nelda Creel of Richton, MS; brothers, Everett (Joannie) Creel and Edward (Crystal) Creel; sister, Melinda (Junior) Jaynes; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
