Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Dykes Chapel Baptist Church for Mrs. Patricia "Trish" Dykes of Richton, who passed from this life on August 23, 2024.  Bro. Kelly Byrd and Bro. J. R. Hartfield will officiate with burial to follow at Dykes Chapel Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Ray Lott, Nathan Lott, Charles Lott, T.J. Shows, Tristan Pearce, Bobby Lynn Cowart, and Eric Pearce as alternate.

Mrs. Dykes is survived by her husband, Virgil "Bobo" Dykes, of Richton; son, Jason Dykes of Richton; daughter, Jessica Laine Dykes of Richton; 2 sisters, Mary Helen Lott of Beaumont and Faye (Harvey) Williams of Wilmer, AL; sister-in-law, Alpha Pearce Shows of Runnelstown; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe Pearce, Sr. and Beatrice Pearce; brother, Monroe "Bug" Pearce, Jr.; sister, Linda Smith; and brothers-in-law, Shelby Lott and W. H. Smith.

Mrs. Dykes was a member of the Bethel Freewill Baptist Church in the Buck Creek community.  She was a certified family nurse practitioner for over 30 years at The Doctors Clinic in Richton.  Her passion was raising English and French bulldogs at her kennel, Backcountry Bulldogs, and she enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers.
