A memorial service will be held at a later date for Ms. Pat James, age 82, of Leakesville.  Ms. James passed from this life on May 26, 2024 at her residence.

Ms. James worked at the South Mississippi Correctional Institution for 25 years before retiring in 2013.  She loved to spend time with her family and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Lillian James.

She is survived by her daughters, Chere (Mark) Brown and Patrice (James) Radcliff; grandson, Mattox "Max" Radcliff; sister, Virginia "Winky" Lott; nephew, Wesley Lott; and niece, Missy Brown.
