Services for Mrs. Nora Faye Broome, age 90, of Hattiesburg, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 19, 2026 at Jones & Son Chapel in Hattiesburg.  Mrs. Broome passed from this life on June 14, 2026 at her residence.  Bro. J.T. Farve will officiate the service and burial will follow in Grantham Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Curtis Hartfield, Hulon Hartfield, Hal Stuart, Zane Broom, Darin Broom, Mark Broome, and Paul Stuart as alternate.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Michael Cameron, Matthew Cameron, Brandon Broome, Nando Broome, Nicholas Broome, and Gabe Penton.

Mrs. Broome was a devoted homemaker whose life was centered on her faith, family, and service to others. A loving mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, she touched countless lives with her kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. She was a faithful member of Hayden Creek Baptist Church, where her steadfast faith guided her throughout her life.   Her legacy of faith, love, strength, and devotion to family will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, extended family, and the many friends whose lives she enriched.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Broome; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Roberta Faye Broome; daughter, Marsha Broome Penton; parents, W.F. "Fleet" and Maude Stuart; brothers, Bill Stuart, Norman Stuart, and Garland Stuart; and sisters, Bobbie Hartfield and Dean Hartfield.

She is survived by her sons, Seborn (Sandra) Broome and Timothy Broome, both of Sumrall, David Broome of Hattiesburg; daughters, Rita (Greg) Buxton, Sandra Ratliff, and Glenda (Kelly) Rutland, all of Hattiesburg, Paula (Brad) Harrison of Ellisville; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
