Services for Mr. Nicholas Fleet Broome, age 17, of Sumrall will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Jones & Son Chapel in Hattiesburg.  Nicholas passed away on August 11, 2026.  Bro. J.T. Farve will officiate the service and burial will follow in Grantham Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Patterson, Jamie Atkins, Nando Broome, Josh Raynes, Jason Raynes, and Darin Broome.

Nicholas was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was homeschooled and was nearing graduation, with plans to attend welding school and begin building his future. He was of the Baptist faith.

Nicholas loved the outdoors and found joy in deer and turkey hunting as well as fishing. He had a special love for animals and enjoyed being outside and doing the things he loved. He will be remembered by those who knew him for the unique place he held in their hearts and for the memories he leaves behind.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aaron and Faye Broome; his aunt, Marsha Broome Penton; his uncle, Daniel Broome; and step-grandfather, Tommy Anthony.

He is survived by his father, Tim Broome; his mother, Selena Anthony, his stepfather, Jeff Anthony; his grandparents, Lonnie and Karin Martin and Georgia Anthony; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving family members and friends.

Though Nicholas's life was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
