Nellie was a faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church in Leakesville, where she found great joy in praising and worshiping the Lord. She had a special gift for bringing beauty and joy into the world around her. She was a talented quilter who created countless beautiful masterpieces over the years, each stitched with love. Always a fashionable lady, Nellie loved to shop, and Belk was by far her favorite place to find something special. She also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially coloring while listening to The Gaithers. Nellie loved to laugh, have a good time, and enjoy life. Above all else, Nellie’s greatest joy was her family. She loved them dearly, and the memories made together will forever be treasured.

Though her earthly journey has come to an end, the love she shared, the joy she brought, and the precious memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. Her life was a beautiful blessing, her love an enduring gift, and her memory a treasure that time can never erase.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Buford Ham, Sr; parents, Irvin Holland and Sarah Lee Holland; daughter, Tina Ham Graham; sisters, Ruth Gray and Dollie Stringer.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, James (Lyndal) Ham, Davy (Sophia) Ham, and Steve Graham; daughter, Shelby Ham; grandchildren, Kandie Ham, Jamie (Brooklyn) Ham, Wade Courtney, Tommie Ham, Ana-Claire Graham, Blake Courtney, Jaxon Graham, and Dagen Ham; great-grandchildren, Chloe Courtney, Whitley Dueitt, Tanner Ham, Addisyn Dueitt, Asa Ham, and Emerlee Courtney; sisters, Gail Ham and Charlene Ham. She also leaves behind a host of loving relatives, cherished friends, and special friends who became family through the years.
