Services for Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Dixon, age 72, of Lucedale, Mississippi, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Mt. Pisgah United Pentecostal Church in Leakesville.  Mrs. Dixon passed from this life on May 12, 2025 in Lucedale.  Bro. Myron Schilling, Bro. Karl Causey, and Bro. David Clark will officiate the service and burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Ferguson, Terry White, Chris Sylvester, Chris Husley, Mark Dixon, and Jake Helton.

For over 26 years, Mrs. Dixon worked faithfully as a cashier in the cafeteria at Leakesville Junior High School, where her kind heart, friendly smile, and steady presence left a lasting impression on generations of students and staff. She was known not only for her work ethic, but for her warm spirit and the genuine care she showed to everyone she met.  She was a devoted member of Leakesville First United Pentecostal Church.  Her faith was a central part of her life, and she found great joy and strength in the fellowship of her church family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Dixon; daughter, Traci Ladnier; parents, Florian and Nancy Fairley; sister, Kim Walther; and brothers-in-law, Harvey Grimes and Rudolph Walther.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Jeffery L. "Jay" Ladnier, Jr., Jackson C. Ladnier, and Dolly Rose Ladnier, all of Bayou La Batre, AL; and sisters, Deborah Grimes of Leakesville, Virginia Alford of Semmes, AL, and Tania Sylvester of McLain.
